PE Stamping & Sealing Services
Apex Grid Engineering provides PE stamping and sealing services for commercial, multi-family, and industrial projects across 49 states and the District of Columbia. Every seal comes from a licensed engineer of record who defines the scope, reviews the design basis, performs or verifies the engineering work, and takes professional responsibility for the sealed documents — a seal is never sold as a standalone product. As a veteran-owned firm with 10+ licensed professional engineers, Apex Grid seals structural, MEP, and civil scopes with a typical 3–5 business day turnaround once a complete package is in hand.

How our PE review-and-seal works
Send the project address, current drawings, calculations, and the authority's checklist. A licensed engineer of record qualified in the project state is assigned, defines the engineering scope, reviews the design basis, and performs or verifies the necessary work. Eligible documents are then signed and sealed for submittal — and the engineer of record responds to plan-check corrections on the sealed sheets. If the submitted documents cannot be verified to responsible-charge standards, they are not sealed, and you are told exactly what is missing.
- Licensed engineer of record assigned in the project state
- Scope defined and design basis reviewed before any seal
- Sealed drawings and calculations for AHJ submittal
- Plan-check correction responses on the sealed sheets
Licensed coverage: 49 states plus the District of Columbia
Apex Grid Engineering is licensed in 49 states — every state except Alaska — plus the District of Columbia. The state pages below describe each jurisdiction's board requirements, plan-review process, and the local conditions that shape the sealed engineering scope. Project-specific licensing is always confirmed with the state board before work begins.
Stamping by discipline
Structural, MEP, and civil scopes each get their own licensed review. Structural stamping covers foundations, framing, and lateral systems; MEP stamping covers coordinated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plan sets with energy compliance; civil stamping covers grading, drainage, utilities, and access. Choose a discipline hub below, then the project state, for the full scope detail.
What to send for the fastest review
The review moves fastest with a complete package: project address and jurisdiction, current architectural backgrounds, the drawings or calculations needing a seal, the geotechnical report where foundations are involved, equipment data for MEP scopes, and the authority having jurisdiction's submittal checklist. Missing inputs are the most common cause of delay — Apex Grid confirms the package is complete before the engineer's review clock starts.
