Civil Stamping Services

Apex Grid Engineering provides civil stamping services across 49 states and the District of Columbia — site and civil plan sets reviewed in responsible charge by licensed civil engineers and sealed for agency and permit review. Grading and earthwork, stormwater management with sealed drainage calculations, water/sewer/storm utilities, paving and access, and erosion control are engineered for each state's terrain, water rules, and agency requirements. Veteran-owned, 10+ licensed professional engineers, with agency comment responses included on every sealed civil set.

What civil stamping covers

Grading and earthwork plans, stormwater detention and retention design with sealed drainage calculations, water, sewer, and storm utility plans and profiles, paving and access design, and erosion-control documentation. DOT access permits, water-district approvals, and floodplain documentation are engineered into the set before sealing.

Engineered for each state's terrain and water rules

Civil stamping follows the ground: karst regions need sinkhole-aware stormwater design, coastal states need floodplain and finished-floor compliance, arid states need water-district coordination, and every state runs its own construction stormwater program. Each state page below details the terrain, water, and agency realities the sealed site plan answers to.

Review-and-seal, not stamp-for-hire

Apex Grid's civil engineers define the scope, review the design basis, and perform or verify the civil work before sealing. Documents that cannot be verified to responsible-charge standards are not sealed. Boundary surveying is a separately licensed service and is not part of the civil seal — Apex Grid coordinates with the project's licensed surveyor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What civil documents need a PE seal?
Grading plans, drainage reports and calculations, utility plans, paving and access design, and stormwater management plans require a licensed civil PE seal for agency and permit review. The seal shows the engineer's name, license number, and date.
Do you handle DOT and water-district comments?
Yes — agency comments on the civil scope are answered by the engineer of record with revised sealed sheets: access-permit revisions, utility coordination updates, and drainage redesign as the comments require.
Can you seal boundary surveys?
No. Boundary surveying is a separately licensed service. Apex Grid seals the civil engineering design and coordinates with the project's licensed surveyor on the survey record.
