"I enlisted in the United States Air Force straight out of high school and served as an Aerospace Medical Service Journeyman with the 60th Medical Operations Squadron. I deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where readiness, disciplined procedures, and taking care of the mission and the people around you were not abstract ideas — they were the work.
When I transitioned out of the Air Force and eventually founded Apex Grid, I brought that same mindset to engineering documents: every calculation gets checked, every drawing gets a second set of eyes, and we don't call something done until it can survive scrutiny. The Air Force didn't let us say 'close enough,' and neither do we.
